December 14 — End of Year Party

Bring a nice, wrapped gift (not a gag gift) and participate in our  first ever White Elephant Gift Exchange. (Not an image of the actual prize)

We will have a change of guard, when the new officers will be “installed” at this, our final Business Meeting of the year (a brief one). Of course, that also means it is the meeting when we have the monthly door prize drawing… Janice McCourt has donated a beautiful, jolly santa cookie jar as the door prize.

Oh, but it IS being done! Come learn more when WebWoman.us aka Lorraine Rylance introduces “NextWorldTV.com: learning and raising awareness about moving toward a more self-sufficient and empowered, healthy and sustainable life. December 3, 2011 • 6:30 to 10:30 pm

The party of the year — NWABC’s Holiday Party — will happen on Saturday, December 3rd at Balcones Country Club. Plans are in the works for some fun entertainment and a great meal with long-time friends, many new ones, family members, and associates.

Many thanks to our three sponsors for this event, Jack Royal — Kitchen, Baths & Commercial Services, Terry Smalling with Cookie Lee Jewelry, and Sylvia Frisch, with Mary Kay Cosmetics, and Lynn Wilkinson, Realtor with Coldwell Bankers. Terry will have some jewelry on display and Sylvia will have some gifts available the night of the event, so, if you are still looking for something special for someone special, here’s a chance to find it. Jack will show off some of his work with a slide show on his display table and Lynn will have some free goodies to give away on hers.

The program is shaping up nicely and should provide some laughs. Carole Stockton of Hawaiian Kona Isle will dance for and Phil Ayliffe, accomplished singer and guitarist, will play a short set of his tunes for us.

For the first time ever, we will be joined by Balcones Prosperity Network for an evening fun and conviviality!  BCC is home to BPN’s weekly networking meetings. Balcones Country Club was home to NWBW (as we were known back then) for years — many years ago. It still feels like we are visiting our roots when we have events there. It’s a lovely venue and 12/3/11 promises to be a memorable date, there.

Be sure to save the date on your calendar: 12/3!
