You don’t have to die to need an estate sale. Downsizing to a smaller space, a death in the family, to give heirs an equal amount, to raise money, and a desire to minimize moving costs are all good reasons to have one.
A good estate sale includes a wide variety of items, such as furniture, kitchen items, dishes and glassware, china, crystal and silver, appliances, tools, collectibles, books, art, records, jewelry, linens and cars. Estate Mates has sold several low mileage cars for more than Blue Book value.
We jokingly say we can sell everything, including the pets. We once arranged for a dog to be adopted.
